Kathleen Brookbanks

Managing Director,
Organizational Development,
Omnicom Media Group

Kathleen became Managing Director of Organizational Development and Talent Management for Omnicom Media Group in 2007. In this role she focuses on two key areas for the organization: the acquisition and development of talent throughout the agency globally and the ongoing examination of how effectively the organization is being run. She has led such intiatives as the OMD U.S. re-organization, the re-engingeering of the agency's client billing structure, the realignment of the OMD and PHD local broadcast offer, and the development and evolution of the Business Intelligence Group.

Kathleen first joined OMD in 2002 when she ran OMD Midwest as Managing Director, overseeing the Chicago, Dallas and Minneapolis offices. There she took on the challenge of unifying what was previously four media departments from four difference agencies, all with strong cultures; today OMD Midwest has $1.7 billion in billings and has become one of the most coveted places to work in the Midwest. She had management responsibilities for some of OMD's biggest accounts, including McDonald's, State Farm, Dell, JCPenney and Gatorade/Quaker. Kathleen's success has been recognized by the industry through her selection as one of Advertising Age's "Women to Watch."
